Wow, Jeanne! You never cease to amaze. The lighter color palette allows for an easier read on the smaller details you’ve incorporated in the cover. The hand lettering has personality and an authenticity about it that would be missing with a dedicated font. Keep up the great work.
Thanks, Tracy! You amaze me as well! I love the way you think creatively! I'm glad the lighter palette helps! I really appreciate the feedback. So much of being and artist feels like taking shots in the dark!
I'm so impressed, Jeanne!! I love the timelapse, sound or no sound. I think you've created a cover that pops and kids who like spooky books would pull off a shelf! I personally really love your hand lettering--it really speaks volumes in and of itself! Great job and going back to older pieces and never giving up. You're encouraging!
Thank you Marci! I'm glad to know that the book cover AND the timelapse are alright! You are encouraging as well! I love reading your newsletter- it is one of the highlights of my week!
Thanks for sharing your process, Jeanne! I have also been reworking some earlier pieces and it's fun to go back over them with new knowledge and better skills! You did a great job making room for the title in your redo and I love seeing it in your new style!

Thanks for reading and commenting, Michelle! I would love to see your re-worked pieces. It is nice to level up!
I definitely plan on doing a post sometime! Not sure when, but it's in the works! :)
